In the end, it wasn’t much of a contest. Australia were dominant with the ball and India dragged their way to 200. Pooja Vastrakar scored a 50 which took India to that point. The Australians faced no such problems with the bat, losing just two wickets in the process and winning by eight wickets with a number of overs to spare. Opener Nicole Bolton scored a 100 and was player of the match. Australia have thus taken a 1-0 lead in the three-match ODI series.
