100% summer placements at IIM-Kashipur for 7th year in a row

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management Kashipur has achieved 100% summer placements for the seventh consecutive year. A total of 66 companies offered 189 positions to 186 students who had applied for summer internships through the institute.

The highest stipend offered this year was Rs 5.58 lakh while the highest domestic stipend was Rs 2 lakh. The average stipend for the season was Rs 63,549, with the top 50 students getting an average stipend of Rs 1.25 lakh. The institute has seen a 13.52% jump in the average stipend from the previous year.

Banking, financial services and insurance or BFSI sector continued to be the dominant sector in recruitment with ICICI Bank, RBL Bank, Tata Capital, SEBI, RBI, HDFC Bank, Canara HSBC Oriental Bank of Commerce Insurance, Muthoot Fincorp, Yes Bank and Apollo Munich offering lucrative roles across marketing, finance, retail and operations.
