 In Jammu and Kashmir, the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) today decided to drop State Finance Minister Haseeb Drabu from the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti’s council of ministers over his recent remarks at a function in New Delhi that Kashmir was not a political but a social issue.
PDP sources in Jammu told AIR that the party has written a letter to Governor N N Vohra about the party’s decision and recommended him to remove Drabu from the council of ministers.
Sources further said that the party has taken a tough stand over Drabu’s remarks.
