‘Baat cheet’ held on ‘Facilitating Youth Participation' in city

A Bhopal based youth-initiative held an open informal conversation called ‘Baat cheet’ on 'Facilitating Youth  Participation' in city here on Sunday. It was organized by Youthquake Project.

Notably, the Youthquake Project is an initiative to inspire youth and create a platform for the youth to express their creative thoughts, ideas and power by engaging them into various projects which in turn are designed to counter some social  problems.   

The primary objective of "Baatcheet" is to a initiate a conversation and create awareness on how youth needs to step up and create value across diverse spectrum. The event started with an introductory session and was followed by an Ice breaking session. The conversation started with the fundamental question of who is youth?.The participants discussed on the various attributes of youth and the purpose of youth in the  society.

Further discussion? involved some hard-hitting issues like how has youth failed to create value in the current scenario and the challenges faced by them.All the participants brainstormed on countering the problems faced by youth in ‘Baat cheet’ and came up with suggestions on working solutions for the problems.?

The conversation was joined by youth leaders like Mohsin Khan, Nikita Kothari, and  Piyush Ghosh.  

Priyansh Soni, Founder of The Youthquake Project, emphasized on the need to nurture the youth of today to be the leaders of tomorrow and inspired the youth to take a tangible step today. Priyansh also announced two of their upcoming projects to engage the school students constructively and invited youth to? work in the initiatives,  co-create and leverage the benefit from each other’s skills and working towards  making the society a better place.   

Some of the potential solutions to the problems were discussed. All the attendees  agreed on to have such Baatcheet every week. Baatcheet will be organised every  week to discuss, brainstorm and find solutions on the problems that are otherwise left  unaddressed.
