Tiger Woods made all the difference. The Valspar Championship, played this weekend at Innisbrook, a Salamander Golf & Spa Resort in Palm Harbor, smashed its previous attendance record soaring to 150,000 for the PGA Tour event up from 112,000 the year before. Tracy West, the Valspar tournament director had deep praise for the many corporate sponsors and local golf fans.
