Suzlon shares gain over 3% on bagging order

Shares of today rose by over 3 per cent after the company bagged an order for development of 75 megawatt (MW) wind project. The stock jumped 2.90 per cent to end at Rs 11.34 on BSE.

During the day, it rose by 3.44 per cent to Rs 11.40. On NSE, shares of the company ended at Rs 11.35, up 3.18 per cent. In terms of equity volume, 51.31 lakh shares of the company were traded on BSE and over 2 crore shares changed hands on NSE during the day. The wind turbine maker today said it has bagged an order for development of 75 megawatt (MW) wind project from an through (MSEDCL) bid. will install around 36 units of S111-140m wind turbine generators (WTGs) with rated capacity of 2.1 MW each. The project will be located in Maharashtra and will be commissioned as per MSEDCL bid guidelines, the company said in a BSE filing.
