14-year-old girl returning from school goes missing

NOIDA: A 14-year-old girl, a Class VII student, went missing while on her way back from school on Thursday in Sadarpur area in Sector 45.

The girl, Kavita Sharma, who originally belongs to Nepal, had apparently told her younger sisters to walk towards their house and that she would follow them. The parents of the girl searched for her the next day, after which they approached police and an FIR was registered under Section 363 (kidnapping) of IPC, said Avnish Dixit, SHO, Sector 39 police station.


A mediaperson also tweeted the matter to senior police officers of UP police and chief minister Yogi Adityanath.
