Minister for Public Relations, Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs Narottam Mishra said that he dreams for overall development of Datia. He expressed this view at a programme held at Datia on Sunday.
Mishra further mentioned that he is making constant effort to ensure that citizens get all the facilities. The dream of overall development consisting of medical college, district hospital, air strip, railway bridge, potable water arrangements, sewer project, roads, collectorate building and other is coming true. Mishra was speaking at the development based calendar releasing programme held at local Gahoi Vatika.
Mishra also participated in the Holi Milan programme organized by the Khangar Kshatriya Community. He assured people that a financial assistance will be provided for the development of Khangar Park. He also urged the common men to cooperate in this.
Besides, Mishra exhorted business community to cooperate voluntarily in the development of Datia. He also gave a financial assistance of Rs. 4 lakh to the family of Smt. Raja Beti Jatav of the district, who lost her life due to snake bite.
Mishra administered polio drops to children aged below 5 years at Datia. He said that public representatives, government servants and social activists must take active part besides parents in this activity. This is important for the protection of humanity. He also flagged off the teams formed in the district to protect the children from polio. A target to administer polio drop to about one lakh children has been set for the district.
