10 P&C insurers post a decline in premiums in 2017

Most of the 85 general insurers operating in the Chinese market showed increases in premiums last year with non-life insurers as a whole posting an increase of 13.8% in premiums to CNY1.06 trillion. Only 10 general insurers saw lower premium volumes last year.
