Maharashtra farmers stir: Fadnavis forms panel

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has formed a committee of ministers to hold talks with a delegation of farmers on Monday.
The members of the committee include Revenue Minister Chandrakant Patil, Tribal Affairs Minister Vishnu Sawara, Public Health and Medical Education Minister Girish Mahajan, Cooperatives and Marketing Minister Subash Deshmukh, Agriculture Minister Pandurang Pundkar and Public Works Minister Eknath Shinde.
A delegation of the Akhil Bharatiya Kisan Sabha, the farmers' wing of the CPM, will meet Fadnavis after 12 pm.
