Centre today filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court over the issue of sealing in the national capital.
Briefing reporters in New Delhi today, Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said, the apex court had raised nine issues related to environment, congestion of traffic, safety measures and parking.
He said, in its affidavit, Delhi Development Authority has submitted his response to the supreme court. In its affidavit, DDA requested the court to give green signal for final notification of the proposals submitted by the DDA for modification of the master plan in the larger public interest. Supreme Court had earlier stayed any further progress by authorities to amend Delhi Master Plan 2021, which is aimed at granting protection from the ongoing sealing drive in the national capital.
