A case has been registered against unknown persons after a restro-bar's owner and his brother lodged a complaint of brutal assault by six drunk men over bill payment in west Delhi, police said on Monday.
Police said the brawl was reported from 'Boom Box Cafe' in Rajouri Garden in the early hours of Sunday.
Complainant Rizul Garg and his brother Nikunj Garg, apart from the pub manager, suffered injuries on their face and hands due to being attacked with beer bottles by the accused.
"All three have been admitted to nearby Kukreja Hospital where their condition is stable," Deputy Commissioner of Police Vijay Kumar said.
The six accused were celebrating the birthday of one of them in the restro-bar.
When the manager asked them to pay the bill and leave the premises after the closure of the restro-bar around 1 a.m., they argued with him leading to a brawl.
The officer said due to low-quality CCTV footage from the spot, the faces of the accused persons were not clearly visible.
"Hookahs, flavoured tobacco packets and plastic containers have been seized from the restro-bar. On this basis, we have initiated action under the relevant law against the Garg brothers as well," the DCP added.
