Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar on Monday reiterated that the government is ready for discussions on all issues including the Punjab National Bank scam in Parliament.
Talking to media outside Parliament, he said the Congress should take part in the discussion and should not stall proceedings.
He said, UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Congress President are talking about democracy on Monday but they should not forget that they were the one who imposed emergency in the country.
Charging the Congress with delaying discussions in Parliament, he said, the party should behave like a responsible opposition.
He said instead of speaking on issues outside Parliament, the party should come forward and discuss the same in the House.
He said, the government is committed to book the economic offenders and will take strictest action in such cases.
