‘Wolfenstein 2’ DLC: ‘The Deeds Of Captain Wilkins’ Download Time Revealed
Wolfenstein 2’s latest piece of DLC will be released by midnight tonight on PS4 and Xbox One, with a PC release around the same time. Titled The Deeds of Captain Wilkins, the DLC will wrap up the Freedom Chronicles series of side stories and is the final addition to the Wolfenstein 2 Season Pass.
The Deeds of Captain Wilkins will revolve around one of the three upgrades players can earn in the Wolfenstein 2 campaign. The first DLC, The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe, utilized the rush attack to clear enemies and obstacles in the way. The Diaries of Agent Silent Death, the second DLC, used the crawl ability to emphasise stealth play. The Deeds of Captain Wilkins will capitalize on the verticality provided with the extending robo-legs upgrade.

The Deeds of Captain Wilkins will be available to download at midnight, local time on PS4 and Xbox One. The above tweet mentions Steam users will be able to download the DLC starting at 7 p.m. EDT. There is some confusion here if the 7 p.m. download time is for today (March 12) or tomorrow (March 13), but it will be available soon regardless.
As of right now, the Captain Wilkins DLC doesn’t appear on Steam, the Xbox Store or the PlayStation Store. If you are concerned that the DLC doesn’t appear as part of the Season Pass, wait for Bethesda to update the game’s store pages closer to launch. If there isn’t an update after midnight, keep an eye on the Bethesda Twitter account for updates.
Unfortunately, if past DLC releases have been any indication, there isn’t much to get excited about for Captain Wilkins. The previous offerings have been short, limited experiences that pale in comparison to Wolfenstein 2’s main campaign. Hopefully Captain Wilkins turns this around, but it will more likely than not continue in the footsteps of the other DLC packs.
So what do you think? Are you excited to play the final DLC story for Wolfenstein 2’s Freedom Chronicles? What have you thought of the previous two DLC expansions? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
