Voices of Abuse Panel Discussion Coming to Grand Theatre

Salt Lake Community College will host the Voices of Abuse panel discussion March 27, 6:30 p.m. in the Grand Theatre at South City Campus, 1575 South State Street, Salt Lake City. ABC 4 news anchor Kim Fischer, who is a victim of abuse, will moderate the discussion.

The event follows national media coverage of abuse in the entertainment industry, politics and elsewhere, prompting needed conversations and debates around the country about how to deal with abusers and help victims.

There will be representatives from several organizations on hand to talk with and assist anyone who may be in an abusive relationship. The event is open to everyone, especially those who may need encouragement and confidence to help stop abuse wherever it happens.
