Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will arrive in Leh today on a day-long visit to the border district of Jammu and Kashmir. She is scheduled to attend a Defence Research and Development Organisation's function at Leh town.

Ms Sitharaman will also meet representatives of Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council and interact with local farmers and women Self Help Groups. She is also expected to review security situation on India-China border with the top army officers.
