Woman dies in single-car crash south of Brisbane

A driver has died after hitting a number of parked cars and a power pole south of Brisbane.

The 26-year-old woman was driving through Beenleigh around 3:45am on Sunday morning when the incident happened.

She was pronounced dead at the scene and police are investigating what caused the crash.

Meanwhile, a boy is in a critical condition in Lady Cilento Hospital after being injured in a single-car rollover in Minden, west of Brisbane.

He was hurt when the car he was travelling in left the Warrego Highway at Minden on Saturday evening, with the car's female driver also seriously injured.

A male passenger has minor injuries.
