Visitors to Asia's largest Tulip Garden on the banks of Dal Lake in Srinagar can enjoy free wi-fi access, in addition to many other new facilities, when the garden opens to public on the 25th of this month.
The State Department of Floriculture said, several other initiatives, like more green space and fountains, have been taken to make the visitors feel comfortable during their visit to the garden. She also said, this year, they have planted more than 12 lakh Tulip bulbs over an area of 10 hectares, adding that 40,000 Hyacinth bulbs have also been planted.
The aim of setting up of the largest Tulip garden of Asia was to give another choice to tourists and to advance the tourism season, which used to begin in May every year, by two months.
