Rly hospital holds health camp for babies

The Central Hospital of East Coast Railway and the ECoR Women’s Welfare Organisation (ECoRWWO) jointly organised a ‘Well-Baby Show’ amongst railway employees and their family members to promote awareness of proper nutrition of infants and children and also effective parenting here on Saturday.

Parents were made aware of family planning, immmunisation, prevention of childhood diseases, health and hygiene issues.

A total number of 55 babies between 6 months to 5 years of age and their parents participated in the health checkup and awareness programme. Common caccines to prevent diseases and nutrition of the babies were also discussed with the parents.

ECoRWWO president Madhulika Singh distributed prizes to babies and their parents. ECoR Principal Chief Medical Director Dr SK Mohanty and ECoR Central Hospital Medical Director Dr Arundhati Senapati graced as guests. Additional Chief Health Director Dr RK Mohapatra coordinated the programme.?
