Athleisure’s new take on swimwear is here to rule the summer, and if you despaired of sweatpants taking over the world - there’s hope. Especially since sporty swimwear looks a lot more chic. Whether it’s Serena Williams in a leopard print full-sleeve maillot or TV star Shay Mitchell in a chequered houndstooth one-piece, full-sleeved, one-piece swimsuits seem to be the flavour of the season. We pick Shivan & Narresh’s floral print maillot, but the world did love Chromat’s body positive show, that had a good dose of sexy yet practical style, including a sleeved, metallic number. Considering we skipped ‘arm day’ one too many times at the gym, we’re only happy to join the trend.
