Chief Minster Edappadi K. Palaniswami will visit the district on Sunday.
The Chief Minister will reach Siluvampalayam village near Edappadi town from Coimbatore on Sunday afternoon and will address a public meeting in Edappadi town in the evening.
On Monday morning, the Chief Minister will participate in a function at Sona College of Technology and distribute two-wheelers under the Amma subsidy scheme to more than 500 working women. He will also inaugurate various development schemes and besides distributing welfare assistance to more than 2,000 beneficiaries belonging to weaker sections on the occasion.
The Chief Minister will leave for Chennai in the evening via Coimbatore, according to official sources.
