RANCHI: Jharkhand Urja Sancharan Nigam Limited (JUSNL), the state owned power transmission company, on Friday announced the linking of the power grid sub-station at Daltonganj with the national grid.

So far, power to Palamu district was being supplied from Hatia grid at Ranchi via Lohardaga, Latehar and Daltonganj resulting in low voltage and frequent disruptions in power supplies due to powerline breakdowns.

"Following the linking of the Daltonganj grid sub-station with the national power grid, all problems of low voltage and line breakdowns in Palamu district have been resolved," a JUSNL official said.
