The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam has come out strongly against the Congress government for its decision to seek a vote-on-account instead of presenting a full-fledged budget.
Addressing a press conference here on Friday, AIADMK leader in the Assembly A. Anbalagan said the Congress came to power campaigning against All India N.R. Congress for seeking vote-on-account.
The dependence on vote-on-account would affect development work.
“Rangasamy and Narayanasamy are the same when it comes to budget,” he added.
Terming the all-party meeting convened by the government on the Cauvery Management Board as eye wash, Mr. Anbalagan said the Chief Minister was going slow on the issue as Karnataka was ruled by the Congress.
