Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu appreciated “Team AP” which worked hard in the development of the State though there was no Union Government support. Day after withdrawal from the Modi Government, on Friday, Naidu has conducted a long video conference with the “Team AP” comprised of Chief Secretary, Special Chief Secretaries, Principle Secretaries, Secretaries, HoDs, Municipal Commissioners, District Collectors among others.
“I personally thank you all for standing behind the State in hard times faced after bifurcation. Since four years we have been waiting for Central assistance. Though we are friendly party, the Union Government’s inimical behavior put Andhra Pradesh at cross roads. Even, Team AP has done wonderful job using latest technologies with a great coordination. Andhra Pradesh stood in first place in ease of doing business, agriculture, MNREGA, Energy, Panchayat Raj, Rural Development because of the best coordination among administration. It is proved if efficient leader placed for any State or the country, we will get very good results, even if you don’t have Central support”, Naidu said.
Naidu briefed in detail about all political developments taken place at the time of bifurcation, after AP Reorganisation, base for joining NDA, Modi Government inimical behaviour, withdrawal of two TDP Ministers from the Modi Cabinet and future problems. “We May face further harsh times with the Centre. We need not afraid of. When bitter times come, but, there will be plenty of opportunities at the same time”, Naidu tried to fill more confidence among Administration. “If you look at e-Pragathi, Bhudhar, Real Time Governance etc. we are doing wonders in Transparent Administration. We have become role model to the country. Recent Comprehensive Finance Management System has put the State at peak in technology usage. We will get patent to CFMS. We will be acting as Consultant and providing services to other States in implementation of CFMS and Bhudhar and will earn additional funds. We need not depend only on Central Assistance by wasting time. We can develop our State with our intelligence, intellectual expertise and enterprenuership”, Naidu detailed.
Adding further targets for future , he directed, “Though we are submitting Utilisation Certificates against Central funds, Union Government lying and has reverted back Rs 350 crores already released. Focus on UCs submission. Get all Central funds as scheduled”. Further he added, “For construction of the Capital, the Centre has given just Rs 2,500 Crores whereas the farmers have given 33,000 acres worth of Rs 40,000 crores without taking single paise.
Can we construct World Class City with meagre support of Union Government? But, if we do hard work, we can build on our own.
Either I don’t have any anger on anybody or I don’t differ with anyone unnecessarily. But, same I don’t let down State interests.
