AICC releases list of members from C’garh
All India Congress Committee (AICC) on Friday declared the names of its members from Chhattisgarh.
The list has been prepared in balanced manner and proper weightage has been given according to social equations, party sources informed.
Apart from giving weightage to experience of almost all the senior leaders, names of young leaders have also been included.
Name of veteran Congress leader Motilal Vora, CGPCC President, Bhupesh Baghel, Charandas Mahant, Md Akbar, Dhanendra Sahu are included in the list.
Two names T.S. Singhdeo and Satyanarayan Sharma are although not in the list. On their request, the name of Singhdeo’s nephew Aditeshwar Sharan Singhdeo, and son of Satyanarayan, Pankaj Sharma has been included.
The list includes names of 16 woman members, 17 members from Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe and 12 from OBC. 15 members included are below the age of 40.
