Union Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju said the Hindi language has played a vital role to unite the country. Addressing official language conference of East and North East Regions in Patna today, Mr.Rijiju exhorted people to promote Hindi and regional languages in respective areas for strengthening the country.

Lamenting over negligence of regional language by certain people he said the language has more power and we have to accept it. Mr.Rijiju said promoting Hindi and regional languages are essential for the implementation of Government programme at the grassroot level. He also felicitated representatives of various offices for their remarkable contribution in promotion of Hindi.

Union Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju has reiterated that vandalism will not be allowed to take place in any part of the country. Talking to reporters in Patna, Mr Rijiju said anybody who will destroy statue in any part of the country will not be spared.

He said the centre has already issued advisory in this regard. He said action has already been initiated. Union Minister said state government should take stringent action against those defying laws.
