A gunman is holding hostages at a California veterans home, according to police. Shots were fired at the Yountville Veterans Home , which claims to be the largest of its kind in the U.S. Around 850 people live at the facility.
Media reports say a possible suspect was taking part in the facility's program to treat post-traumatic stress disorder, or PTSD, until he was asked to leave that program earlier this week. Hostages are employees who work for that program, according to the Napa County sheriff. Around 20 shots were fired, but no injuries have been reported.
