Women’s Day: Hry CM announces a slew of schemes

On International Woman’s Day, Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal announced a slew of schemes which included opening a 100 bedded Mother and Child Care Hospital in Panipat, provide free sanitary napkins to adolescent girls and organise free medical camp once in a month in CHC or district hospital exclusively for senior citizen women.

In addition, process to recruit 1000 woman constable in Haryana Police will be started soon.

The Chief Minister was replying to the debate on the Governor’s Address on 4th day of ongoing Budget session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha here on Thursday.

He complimented the Haryana government efforts for remarkable improvement in sex ratio under Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao programme.
