Every day is a woman’s day and every woman works for making every day a better day, says Pallavi Rao Chaturvedi, Director, Human Resources in AISECT University and founder of Brainy Bear Pre-School and Activity Club.
While talking to ‘The Pioneer’, she said that information of handling finance and education are biggest tools for empowerment of women. Empowerment relates to manage all kinds of aspects.
“Woman is stereotyped in the society and to help break the mindset we have been working for the past 15 years and produced 1800 entrepreneurs. Pehchan is an initiative to for supporting women entrepreneurs which has been started few years and garnered tremendous response,” she said.
The organisation came up with a book of 500 top woman entrepreneur produced by woman empowerment programmes of AISCET. Some of the woman entrepreneur could be found in veil and manages their business with acumen marking the rich cultural tradition of the country and at the same time working at their best.
Pallavi informed that at AISCET 40 per cent women are in the top management which is something that differentiates this organisation and shows women by no means less in any respect in the society.
To a query of improving condition of the women and girls, she said that boost in confidence from inside as when a woman moves out of house due to lack of safety her confidence frails and the strength could be provided by the male among the peers and in the house, as their role is vital in supporting and lifting self esteem of woman. Woman gains greater confidence on having another woman on their side.
Pallavi further said that to handle the job being a woman in not tough as according to her that work itself speaks and nothing else is required to prove.
