Viral video shows B’swar girl abused
A video that went viral in social media shows a boy slapping and abusing a girl in public. The victim girl lodged an FIR with the Oupada police and an investigation was on.
The boy, a jilted lover, has exhibited his anger after their breakup in love relationship.
“A case under Sections, 341,323,294, 354(a), 354(b), 506 and 509 was registered on the complaint. The accused is absconding,” said officer-in-charge (OIC) of Oupada police station Prasant Kumar Jena.
The incident took place near her college when the victim, a plus two second year student, was returning after classes in a bicycle accompanied by two other school mates, about two months ago. The video surfaced in social platform since Wednesday.
In the video of about 80 seconds, it is seen that two other male friends of the accused are trying to stop him, yet th accused uses obscene languages against the victim.
The accused was identified as Hemanta Ghadai (22), a resident of Ramchandrapur village under the Khaira police station.
