II PU exams: One impersonator held, 8 debarred
BENGALURU: Eight students were debarred across the state for resorting to malpractices during the II PU exam on Thursday. One person was caught impersonating a private student in the accountancy exam at the BEL centre in Bengaluru. An FIR has been registered against him.

Three cases of malpractices were registered during the accountancy paper, while four people were caught during the chemistry exam. C Shikha, director of pre-university board, said grace marks will be decided only after formulation of the evaluation scheme by subject experts once the exams are over. tnn
