‘Destiny 2’ Xur Items & Location March 9 - Selling Coldheart & More

Destiny 2 players can score some fresh exotics from Xur right now. Though this weekend’s lineup isn’t spectacular, its main highlight is the Coldheart Trace Rifle. The gun was originally offered as a pre-order bonus and is a must-have for those who haven’t purchased it yet.

WHERE IS XUR LOCATED IN ‘DESTINY 2’ TODAY?

Xur infamously changes his location each time he spawns, and today you can find him on Nessus right by the Flashpoint location. You can see his colored icon on the map below.

WHAT’S XUR SELLING TODAY? 

Here’s a quick recap of all the Exotics and items in Xur’s arsenal today. 

• Coldheart [29 Shards]: This gun requires level 20 and has the Cold Fusion perk that allows it to shoot a Cold Fusion-powered laser. This is a solid gun for PvP, but it’s best used during the Calus encounter of the Leviathan Raid. Especially if you haven’t gotten a squad together to finish the raid, you can’t pass up on this deal.
• Dragon’s Shadow [Hunter Chest Armor 23 Shards]: The main perk of this Exotic is Wraithmetal Mail. It increases your movement and weapon-handling speed after dodging. The emphasis on movement makes this Exotic perfect for PvP, but it’s not that useful otherwise. You won’t see this Exotic too much in the wild.
• Hallowfire Heart [Titan Chest Armor 23 Shards]: This chest armor has the Sunfire Furnace perk, which improves the recharge rate of your solar abilities while the Hammer Of Sol is charged. In other words, the longer you sit on your Super, the more powerful your equipped abilities become. Especially if you’re a Hammer player, this perk allows your best abilities to become even better,
• Nezarec’s Sin [Warlock Helmet 23 Shards]: Its Abysmal Extractors perk increases your ability charge rate with Void kills. While its benefits work on any subclass, it's best used by Voidwalkers. Especially in PvP scenarios, that fast recharge can be a lifesaver.
• Fated Engram [97 Shards]: This Engram automatically generates an Exotic you don’t already have. It’s limited to one purchase per account per week.
• Three of Coins [31 Shards]: It equates to a 50 percent increase in the chance of Exotic drops after completing an activity. Without knowing the exact base chance, though, it’s hard to know just how worth it this limited buff is. If you don’t have one of the above Exotics, buy those instead.
