Santa Clarita Diet season two trailer: Cannibalism, blood and Drew Barrymore's comic timing continues
The trailer of the second season of Santa Clarita Diet just dropped and it sets a bloody high (no pun intended) bar for the upcoming season.

Drew Barrymore's Sheila Hammond had previously developed a taste for human flesh in season one of the show, and it season two the affectation only seems to be getting worse, although the love between Hammond and her husband Joel (Timothy Olyphant) only seems to be getting stronger. The human flesh-loving virus that had infected Hammond has spread and it seems that people are beginning to take notice of the increased number of missing Santa Claritans. Hammond's first victim, Gary (Nathan Fillion), from season one marks his return in season two as well (or at least his dismembered head does).
Peppered with a healthy dosage of blood, gore and ever-falling Hammond body parts, the season two trailer sees impeccable comic timing by Barrymore, Olyphant and Liv Hewson who plays Abby, the couple's daughter.
Santa Clarita Diet's second sees Joel McHale, Maggie Lawson, Gerald McRaney and Zachary Knighton guest starring in a few episodes.
The web-series has been created by Victor Fresco and will start streaming on Netflix from 23 March.
