Man tries to scale naval station’s boundary, held
GURUGRAM: A 21-year-old man was arrested for allegedly trying to climb the boundary wall of a naval transmitting station (NTS) on Sohna Road in the wee hours of Friday.

Police said Sonu from Bardhaman in Bengal was caught by one of the security guards deployed at the naval station. According to the complaint filed by commanding officer in-charge Chandra Kant Kothari, the man was trying to climb the perimeter wall from an adjacent plot reportedly owned by BSNL when a guard nabbed him. The man was drunk and was not carrying any identity proof.

Security officers at NTS took his photographs and fingerprints and handed him over to police. “Investigation may be carried out to ascertain the antecedents of the trespasser,” Kothari said in his complaint. An FIR has been registered under Section 451 (trespass to commit offence punishable with imprisonment) of the IPC at Sadar police station.
