The groom, Ramakrishna (38), and four others were killed on the spot after their vehicle rammed into a roadside tree near Konijerla, they added. The bride, Sridevi (33), and four others sustained severe injuries and were admitted at a hospital, police said. The victims were returning to Warangal district after the wedding at Tanuku in West Godavari district yesterday, they added. Ramakrishna was at the wheel during the accident, which resulted after he lost control of the vehicle, police said.
