PITTSBURGH, March 9, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- An inventor from Killeen, Texas, has developed the VEHICLE REMINDER ALERT, a simple device that may prevent injuries and deaths to babies and young children left unattended in motor vehicles. It serves as a physical and audible reminder to the driver that a baby or young child is in the rear seat of a vehicle. A prototype is available.
"I was inspired by God, as well as my job as a day care teacher, to develop this idea. I love working with children and want to protect them," said the inventor.
The VEHICLE REMINDER ALERT reminds the driver of a child's presence in the vehicle. This will, in turn, safeguard a baby from being left behind in the back seat of a vehicle. This will help prevent tragic heat- or cold-related injuries or deaths of infants and young children. Ultimately, this alert device will provide peace of mind to busy parents and caregivers.
The original design was submitted to the Austin office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
