With the objective of promoting professional and social interaction between the participating navies, the biennial gathering of navies of India Ocean Milan-2018 is being organised at Port Blair.

As part of the event, International city parade was organised today wherein contingents of participating navies, Andaman Nicobar Command and NCC participated. Lt. Governor of Islands, Admiral D. K. Joshi was the Chief Guest.

The parade and daredevil act of Marine commandos was witnessed by Naval Chief Admiral Sunil Lamba, Commander-in-chief Andaman Nicobar Command Bimal Verma, personnel of unified command, officers of local Administration and a large gathering of islanders.

The prime attraction of the parade was the skydiving of naval commandoes from the height of 8000 feet and perfect landing in front of the parade dias on the parade track. Daredevils of Indian Air Force demonstrated a spectacular act of Motorcycle riding.

Tableaus of various departments participated in the event supplemented with the attractive cultural programme. All the participating navies will proceed for on sea exercise on 11th March till 13th March.
