Cape Town - The pre-trial conference for the four men accused of raping and murdering Stellenbosch University student Hannah Cornelius has been postponed after they appeared in the Western Cape High Court on Friday.
Eben van Niekerk, Nashwill Julies, Vernon Witbooi and Geraldo Parsons attended their first pre-trial conference since the case was transferred from the Stellenbosch Magistrate's Court in January.
Two of the accused had not yet appointed legal representatives and the matter was postponed to March 23.

The four are accused of murder, kidnapping and rape, following the brutal attack on Cornelius and her friend Cheslin Marsh in May 2017.
Cornelius was last seen alive with Marsh when four men approached her car in Bird Street, Stellenbosch.
Her body was discovered on the side of the road, near a wine farm, hours later on May 27.

Cornelius' Citi Golf is also alleged to have been used in an armed robbery in Northpine, between Brackenfell and Kraaifontein on the day of her murder.
