Karti Chidambaram, son of former Union Minister P Chidambaram, is learnt to have filed a caveat in the Supreme Court seeking hearing if the ED decided to challenge the Delhi High Court's order providing him relief in the alleged money laundering case, DHNS reports from New Delhi.

The Delhi High Court had on Friday restrained the Enforcement Directorate (ED) from arresting him till March 20.

The court had admitted his plea challenging the proceedings initiated against him for alleged money laundering in the INX media case.

Karti is under the CBI custody at present. A Delhi court had remanded him into the CBI custody till March 12.

The caveat filed by him is intended to preempt any chance of ex-parte order in case the ED decided to move the top court against the HC's relief.
