French President Emmanuel Macron is reaching New Delhi tonight on a four-day visit.

Briefing media in New Delhi today, Joint Secretary in the MEA, K Nagaraj Naidu said, India has a very deep engagement with France in several areas, including space.

He said, issues of maritime security and terrorism will be discussed during the French President's visit. Mr Naidu said, issues of mutual interest will be also discussed between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Mr Macron during their meeting tomorrow.

India and France will sign agreements in different fields tomorrow. Prime Minister Modi and Emmanuel Macron will co-chair the Founding Conference of the International Solar Alliance.

The India-France CEO’s Forum will also take place during the visit.
