Michael Smith is set to leave the ESPN program 'SC6' and will remain at the network under a longterm contract.

Friday night will be Smith’s final show and the time slot for the rest of March will be staffed by a rotating stable of other “SportsCenter” anchors.

Both Smith and Jemele Hill, who left the program recently as well, had reportedly expressed frustration with ESPN’s tinkering of the show as it was intended to be more personality-based and less straight news and highlights..
