Tempo driver dies in accident on NH-8

VADODARA: A tempo driver working with a chemical company in Waghodiya GIDC died in a road accident on National Highway-8 under the jurisdiction area of Makarpura police station on Thursday morning.

The deceased Kalpesh Raut, a 34-year-old resident of Danteshwar, was going for delivery of goods from the factory when his three-wheeler overturned due to unidentified reasons. He was rushed to SSG Hospital in 108 GVK-EMRI Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries after brief treatment.


Raut is survived by his wife and a five-year-old son.
