Market Now: Over 190 stocks hit fresh 52-week lows on NSE
YES Bank, Coal India, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries and Bharat Petroleum Corporation were in the red in the Nifty pack of stocks.
NEW DELHI: Over 190 stocks including Adani Power, Allahabad Bank, Andhra Bank, Balrampur Chini Mills and Bosch hit fresh 52-week lows on NSE during Thursday's trade, even as broader markets were in the green zone.

Canara Bank, Capital First, Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries, Dena Bank, GATI, Godfrey Phillips India, HCC, IDFC Bank HDIL, Indian Overseas Bank, PTC India Financial Services, Syndicate Bank, Tata Motors, UCO Bank and Punjab & Sind Bank also figured among the stocks that hit fresh 52-week lows on NSE.

Equity benchmarks were in the positive terrain, backed by buying in bank, financial, auto and IT stocks.

Positive global cues too boosted investors' sentiment.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 71 points up at 10,225, while the BSE Sensex was up 239 points at 33,272 around 12:40 pm (IST).

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 31 were trading in the green, while 19 were in the red.

Punjab National Bank, YES Bank, State Bank of India, Idea Cellular, Ashok Leyland, ICICI Bank, PFC and Adani Ports SEZ were among the most traded stocks on NSE.

Bharti Infratel, State Bank of India, Mahindra & Mahindra and ICICI Bank were over 2 per cent up in the Nifty50 index.

However, YES Bank, Coal India, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries and Bharat Petroleum Corporation were in the red in the Nifty pack of stocks.
