NAGPUR: Getting education is the first step one has to take to gain knowledgeable. But understanding how to use knowledge gained over a period of time is the key factor to become empowered and successful, said Saumya Manglani, ‘Mrs Perfectionist India’, on Wednesday.
Speaking at a programme organized by the Lady Entrepreneurs Wing (LEW) of Vidarbha Industries Association to mark the International Women’s Day at
VIA hall, Udyog Bhavan, Manglani said, “We can achieve our goals without making adjustments and compromises. Using knowledge effectively in the chosen field alone ensures success.”
Senior journalist Vinita Chaturvedi graced the function that was hosted by Y Ramani, former president of LEW VIA.
Ramani underlined the need for protecting the rights of women, saying the dark era of sufferings is almost over as they are working shoulder-to-shoulder with their male counterparts. Talking about the ‘Best Start-up Idea Contest’, Ramani said training will be imparted to the aspirants so that they can have a better understanding of the subject.
Nikita Lokhande bagged the first prize in the contest for her idea of wheat cutter.
Matisha Parekh secured second and
Anuradha Punyani third position respectively.
Rashmi Shahu and Saket Chaurasia were the judges.
