The High Court of Karnataka on Wednesday adjourned till Friday the hearing on the petition filed by Mohammed Nalpad Haris, son of MLA N.A. Haris, seeking bail in an attempt-to-murder case.
Justice Sreenivas Harish Kumar adjourned the hearing after the Special Public Prosecutor sought two days’ time to file his objections.
In his plea for bail, Mr. Nalapad pointed out the changes in the circumstances, cited by the sessions court for denying bail while claiming that that Vidvat L., the victim, had now been discharged from the hospital and the police had recorded the victim’s statement.
