US trade agency to support Tata Power

(USTDA) has extended its support to power discom Distribution with a grant to explore and develop opportunities in the areas of distributed resources (DERs) such as integration of rooftop solar, storage systems, and electric vehicles. The grant agreement was signed by Praveer Sinha, and MD, Tata Power-DDL and Heather K Lanigan, country manager, South Asia, USTDA on the sidelines of Smart Grid Week 2018 in the national capital. The grant, which is part of the second phase of technical assistance, will help Tata Power-DDL evaluate different combinations of distributed resources that it could implement to improve its electric grid.
