It's International Women's Day, and McDonald's is flipping excited.
The fast-food chain is flipping its logo March 8 from the iconic "M" to a "W." The logo will be upside-down on its website, on some of its packaging and at one restaurant in California.
According to McDonald's, 3 out of 5 of its restaurant managers are women.
International Women's Day is celebrated in March every year.
According to the movement's website , it is "a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women." This year's theme is Press for Progress — which pushes for gender parity.
