Three miscreants nabbed for robbery
Gandhi Nagar police have nabbed three miscreants involved in the robbery of a mobile phone and Rs 3000 from a truck driver at Dwarka Dham colony late in the night on Tuesday.
Acting on a tip off Ape auto rickshaw bearing registration number MP 04 RA 5789 from Gandhi Nagar and when they were questioned, they confessed that they have robbed the driver late in the night.
The three nabbed accused were identified as Javed Khan (22) of Karond, Sohail alias Shehanshah (30) of Teelajamalpura and Amir Khan (24) of Karond.
Notably, the victim Shafeeq Mewati of Sehore works as a driver with Saurabh Milk Company and at around 1 in the night on Tuesday when he was trying to check fault by opening the bonnet of the truck, three miscreants arrived in an Ape auto rickshaw and one of them entered the cabin of the truck while the other over powered the victim and took mobile phone and Rs 3000 cash and when the victim asked for the mobile phone, he was assaulted by the three and escaped from the spot.
Later the victim approached the police and lodged a complaint regarding the robbery.
