Printing press failed to attach map

This year’s Plus Two Higher Secondary examinations witnessed the first glitch on Thursday. Students appearing for the Islamic History examination were in for a surprise when they received the question paper without a map.

The students were required to map Aurangzeb’s kingdom. However, it was when the question papers arrived in schools for distribution the absence of the map noticed. This caused much confusion among the students.

The matter was brought to the attention of the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education, which contacted the press entrusted with printing the map.

It turned out that the press had failed to attach the map with the answer booklets. The map was then obtained from the press and uploaded on the directorate portal. School authorities were then asked to download the map, photocopy them, and distribute them among the students. It was an hour after the examination began that the students finally got the maps.
