Superntural has had some crazy episodes before, but their upcoming crossover with Scooby-Doo might take the cake.
Entertainment Weekly shared the first look at the upcoming crossover, complete with animated photos of Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) as cartoons. Yes, Dean is, in fact, wearing an ascot as an excellent homage to Fred.
According to EW's synopsis, the boys receive a free TV as a thank you for their latest hunting gig, which ends up catapulting them right into an episode of Scooby-Doo. From there, hilarity ensues.
"Once they get over their amazement at being in the cartoon, two things happen," executive producer Robert Singer says. "They say, 'We've been in a situation like this before with the Trickster and I think we're supposed to play this out.' And then they realize they're in a Scooby-Doo cartoon, which makes Dean incredibly excited because Scooby-Doo was his favorite cartoon growing up."
